Daily screening
The screener currently runs on daily, end-of-day data. It is not a live quote terminal. A scan evaluates the available dataset; running it again does not turn delayed data into real-time prices. Review any displayed update time alongside the results.
Market universes
The universe selector determines which securities are eligible for a scan. Available choices include S&P 500, NASDAQ 100, Russell 2000 and the supported US stock universe. Availability may depend on your account. A universe name describes the selection used by the service, not a guarantee that every security has complete data at every moment.
Indicators and history
Indicator periods refer to bars in the selected timeframe. In daily screening, a period of 14 uses daily bars rather than 14 intraday intervals. Historical offsets refer to previous bars, so a prior bar may precede a weekend or market holiday. Values can differ from another service because of data availability, calculation conventions or update timing.
Reading results
A matching security satisfies your configured conditions against the data available to the scan. An empty result is not necessarily an error: restrictive conditions, the selected universe or missing history can affect matches. Check the criteria and timestamp before drawing conclusions.
Limitations
Market data can be delayed, incomplete or revised. Independently verify information before acting on it. The Financial Disclaimer and Terms of Service describe the existing limitations that apply to use of the service.
